Seems there has been another outrage perpetrated on our rivers with news that a mile section of the river Lugg at Kingsland has been desecrate by landowners with bulldozers who have striped a bank naked of trees and undergrowth, graded and straightened the banks to something similar to a canal over a section said to be a mile long. Hereford and Worcester wildlife Trust are on the case and the EA say they are mounting a wide ranging investigation with Natural England and the Forestry Commission and other partners. Well we all know what that could mean. Not sure if WUF are involved. Still no news of the Lynfi pollution incident either yet. Maybe it's been forgotten.

Oh I see WUF have now woken up to the incident and 'hope' the EA will remedy the situation.  Whoever the landowner is they should grab him by the bo=====cks and make him pay the price.
