below is another chance to take part in the NRW 'Consultation' but one has to ask oneself WHY.  The EA/NRW will do exactly as the want as they have already shown.   Consultation means nothing if it does not agree with their own proposals.   A complete waste of time.

Another reminder that the Cross Border Byelaw Consultation closes 5th February 2018

Our proposals for new controls on fishing for salmon and sea trout on rivers Dee and Wye is  about to close. The Environment Agency are carrying out an identical consultation on the English parts of the Dee and Wye.  In this way, we can seek to ensure that integrated solutions for the whole of the 2 catchments are rolled-out on the 2 rivers.

This is a reminder that the 12 week consultation closes on 5th February 2018.

We note that we have already received a number of responses to the earlier consultation from
interested parties relevant to the Dee and Wye. Those who have already submitted a representation to the ‘All Wales’ consultation, and wish for it to be included in the cross border river consultation need to individually confirm this to us .

They can do this by either letter or email, with their name and address on it stating that they wish their previous representation to be also included in the cross border consultation.

A full set of documents including the technical case, byelaws, and response form can be found on our web site http://naturalresources.wales/crossbordercontrols

If you want reply to the byelaws for the sections of catchments in England they can be found at:
