Slight drop in levels on the upper river and still clearing slowly but still a little too high for many beats. Rest of the week looks promising.

Regarding my recent mention of canoes transgressionsI see on the recent WUF report that Mr Adam Fisher refers to me in his blog as;

"I don't wish to sound like a certain habitually gloomy salmon fishing blogger who posted the following on the weekend, but he has a point"

Well glad he aggrees and that he even reads the blog.  Strange how when things start to affect your 'guiding' business it somehow concentrates the mind especially at a couple of hundred pounds a day.
Anyway me - gloomy??   Just because I don't always go with the current WUF spin and get all heady about a slight increase in catches no need to get personal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
