River dropping back now, but only slowly and still quite coloured  but conditions look likely to improve considerably over the next few days which are  forecast to be cold but dry.  We should expect the first fish in the next day or so. There have been very few reports of fish seen that can be confirmed as springers but if they are not present in the system now in good numbers we are in trouble.  I'm sure they are and as already said a fish could come from almost anywhere sooner rather than later.  Good luck to all.
