Yesterday. Goodrich Court 16lbs on a Devon to Barry Warwick.
Today.
Steve Joseph. 14lbs fish from Cadora. Spinning,
Still odd reports of dead, dying and still alive fungus covered fish from various parts of the river in common it seems with some other rivers in the UK where things are much worse it seems.. Reports too of good numbers of fish proving very difficult to tempt up and down the Wye.
Saw for myself a run on the middle river, heavy with ranunculus that contained at least two fish, one at least very fresh, who from early evening were behaving in an unusually active manner repeatedly clearing the water in a state of considerable agitation, all evening. most of the night and the following morning too. No exaggeration to suggest they showed every few minutes throughout that time so work it out for yourself. Weed was too heavy to get a bait to to them except for a small area, but they showed no interest. It did appear they were not happy with something though everything seemed ok regards river flow, clarity and temperature etc. Who knows.

Further reports today re the above??
