Still no reports of any fish on opening day, or even any seen as far as I know.
River level remains fairly steady, at a good running height and clear though on the high side for many areas.   Prospects couldn't really be much better as levels drop and higher temperatures forecast for the weekend.. There should be a reservoir of early fish in the river somewhere due to the much later starting date than we used to fish.
