Only a couple more fish from yesterday reported so far..

One from Llangoed by long time rod Dennis cotter 15lbs and another from Builth Wells at around 10lbs.n to Peter Huntingdon.

Its not really good enough considering the conditions and surely this weekend should see a big surge in catches.

Latest.   A fish report at last -was beginning to wonder.
A 10 pound fish from the Red Lion water on a size 8 Cascade by visiting angler Peter Jones.
Possibly two more from the Letton though details no available at present.

Later still.

Report from Nick Hope who has had a couple of exciting days.
He took an 11lb fish yesterday evening from The Newbridge Association water on a Rapala and followed up with two fish today from Caerwnon. A 10 lb fish on fly and a 17lb fish on the Rapala again both from Goytre pool. Interestingly there was a size 4 worm hook in the mouth of the 17lb fish.
Not content with that he also landed a large pike measuring 43" in length.which also took the Rapala.
Rumours too of another two fish from Lysdinam as well.

Re the Letton report of fish,    Ian Spalding reports three fish of 18,15 and 12 all taken on a wooden devon and centrepin reel. Another day to remember.

2 fish also reported from Glanwye and 3 from the Rectory though there seem to be no details of these.
One from Spreadeagle, Roger Ploughdon 12lbs
