Another fine fish to report this afternoon.    88 years young Ernie Coleman does it again with a 45inch springer (est. 31.8lbs) taken from his own water just above Whitney.  Landed alone and unaided.   Fish was very fresh but had a little nose fungus and what looked like a sea lamprey wound in its side.  Some feat I reckon and follows his big fish from last season  (35lbs)!!!!

Picture below of the first Wye salmon of the season caught by Richard |Wothers on the Spreadeagle beat just above Glasbury.   Congratulations to him.

 41 inches -estimated at 26lbs

A second fish today from Loxsters Pool, Whitney. Caught on a black and silver flying C by Steve Dawes.  Weighed in a Maclean weigh net at 28lbs.  Lovely fish.
