Two fish yesterday to Dave Roberts from the Carrots.  Flying C.  8 and 12lbs.
Looks like the 2sw fish may be arriving along with the shad and meeting good running water should this time make good progress well upriver.  Upper river has a few inches from yesterdays heavy shows and a little more colour which should soon run off though the Ithon water could yet be a problem.
Shad are as far upstream as Letton and runs will continue to build.and all looks set for an interesting weekend which, dare I say it again, should be the best of the season in the salmon stakes.
