As conditions continue to improve Ian Spalding had a fish off letton Court on fly yesterday of around 19lbs.
Several other anglers have see their first fish of the season in this Red Lion/Letton area recently so this weekend may see some badly needed increase in catch rates.
No significant rain so far and if today's predicted heavy showers miss us condition look good for the weekend in many areas.
Latest/ two fish reported this morning from Monks Run, Letton, to Jerry Oddie on one of my 1 1/2" Wye Thunder tubes. Fish approx 21lbs 38" and 14lbs 33". Two fish in 4 casts. Well done to Jerry.

NEW:
Code for Theft of Fishing Rights 116/11 Quote this Code to the Police If
You See "Fishing Without Permission"
Every
offence which the police are duty bound to deal with has a unique Home Office
Code. We now have the Code for "Theft of Fishing Rights":
116/11. If therefore, anglers quote this when reporting
incidents, the police will understand that they must deal with the matter,
rather than misinterpreting the situation as a civil matter and/or passing the
job over to the EA. Provision of the Code will mean that from the initial stage
the call taker will understand that this is a police matter, and police officers
responding can check the relevant instructions.

Chris
Yates Book Signing to Support Angling Trust
Without
doubt, Chris Yates is an angler and writer of renown. His latest book, ‘THE LOST
DIARY’ was indeed, just that; lost, then found. Written in 1981, it was
accidentally packed away with his Christmas decorations. He promised an old
friend that should he ever find that diary, they could publish it; Chris was
true to his word. For further information on a special book-signing event with
money from each signing going to the Angling Trust click HERE.
