Conditions still pretty good though the canoe armada's are making any realistic daytime fishing pretty impossiblein many areas.. Just the odd fish reported but pretty disappointing on the whole I must say.To stop anyone else asking me again "Where are all the fish" well I don't know is the answer.
I see WUF have now deleted the two fish they reported from Backney -again! Result.
Latest;
Goodrich Court: 23lb on a fly for Roberto Fraga
Wyesham: 11 1/2 lbs from Island stream on fly. Fish seen moving through
Glanwye: 11lbs fish for Chris Morley, Barn Pool on fly
Land based enclosed salmon farms seem to be more in the news these days and are a much safer alternative that the current sea lice/disease ridden sea cages. Seem to remember over a decade ago Tony Chatterley (Fish Farmer/fishery manager) was advocating and trying to get such a system up and running. What goes around comes around.
