Well that's the end of a season best forgotton by most, especially those on the middle and upper river when low water and high temperatures prevented fish from running.  Be really interesting to see just how many fish will make it to the uppermost spawning beds.

On top of that rod licences are set to rise in each of the next three years.   Even though the amounts don't equate to too much it still leaves a bad taste in the mouth and the question " what is it we are paying for" Well less and less in the answer.  Wonder what else they have in store?
