Was sent the below by a friend.  Perhaps you would like to add your name to this petition?

When it rains, sh*t pours. Or at least it does in Britain - spewing sewage onto our beaches and triggering red alerts along our coastline. [1] Since 2016, raw sewage has been pumped into our rivers and coastlines more than ONE MILLION TIMES. [2]

The Government’s long overdue plan for fixing this disgusting mess is, apparently, due any day. [3] But, with the ongoing leadership election and some ministers already packing their bags, they could slip out a weak plan that would take DECADES to sort the issue. We can’t let that happen!

So we’re heading to Number 10 with a GIANT POSTCARD showing the, erm, ‘delights’ of Britain’s beaches right now. But, if the Government is going to take our message seriously, we need as many of us as possible to sign our names!

Here’s the postcard - just click the image and it should add your name automatically! Together, we could prove that hundreds of thousands of us are watching to see what they do next.. We’ll hand it in next week, so there’s no time to lose!

Human sewage is pouring into our rivers and coastline. Families hoping to go to the beach in the last days of summer are being warned it’s a risk to health.

This can’t go on. But if the next PM is going to hear this message loud and clear when we take this postcard to Downing Street, we need it to come from all of us.

So Andrew will you sign our giant postcard today? Just click the picture below and it should add your name automatically! If it doesn't just add your name on the petition page you land on. We’ll travel to Number 10 next week so there’s no time to lose!

Thanks for being involved,

Matt, Ellie, Angus, Jonathan and the 38 Degrees team
