Well nothing reported from yesterday so far anyway.  Apart from the Wyesham phenomena only Bigswier are in double figures for the whole of the Wye with 27 once famous  beats still on a nil return.   Even so the silence is deafening as everyone fiddles while Rome burns.  Is there no one with the will to take on this task of holding those to account who are.have wrecked our river.   WUF are a miserable failure and always have been, God knows what the Wye Conservators do.  WSA are doing their best with little or no  co operation from either of those bodies and NRW/EA hide their heads in the sand as the chicken farmers and other do as they like it seems.

Doesn't bother me if I never catch another Wye salmon but so sad to see the situation we find ourselves in.

Have to say I am seriously thinking of suspending this blog.  Rarely any good news.  All a bit depressing frankly..

Latest=  Update on Bigsweir who are now it seems on 25fish with two taken on Saturday 15lbs and 10lbs  The former from Pilstone by Dave Redmond.  Decent numbers of fish see, two bass caught and a couple of Shad also caught.     Filth from Redbrook sewage outfall causing problem on this beat too and so it goes on.
