Weirend - Ross Angling Club : Superb traditional Wye hen salmon from Hom Pil for Trevor Hyde. The brighfresh  fish measured just short of 40 inch about 24lb and fell to a red and silver flying C. Fish took just over 20 minutes to land and was the first fish on Ross waters this year, Wewll done Trevor- hope there are more in the offing soon.

That's all reported so far today-lets hope the lower beats will oblige soon.

LATEST    Another fish for Kenny Powell again from Holme Lacy No.4 beat.   12lbs  taken spinning.
Also from yesterday  a 12lb fish from Wyesham on fly apparently.???

Letter in this months Trout and Salmon from WUFs Simon Evans in response to one from Richard Strode last month.   What does it say?  Well nothing we don't really already know.  Shouldn't comment any further really for fear of being seen as being negative.  All I will say to  Simon is that problems he mentions have been happening since the founding of the Foundation in 1997 and the situation we are in today has happened in plain sight. So why are we where we are today?.

Wye salmon beat up for sale, the Bark house Farm Fishery at Hoarwithy.   481 yards of single bank fishing , no records and badly  overgrown apparently but a snip at £40.000
