Still no new reports of any salmon catches, somewhat disappointing in view of the conditions on the upper and much of the middle river.  Some light rain around again today and tomorrow apparently but then it looks like a much drier and warmer spelL

Looks like the days of the early Wye springers well up the river above Newbridge on opening are long gone.

Came across this photo of superb springer in the February snow at the Nyth more years ago than I care to remember.   Not a good photo  - not sure how to rotate it -sorry

Also need to get rid of a few possessions such the one below.  An original Photograph of Pashley and his Gillie up above the Dog Hole   Anyone interested please let me know
