Small rise on the upper river after yesterdays rain and nudging up a little on lower beats too with some colour.    Bottom river out for some time yet.   

NO new fish reported but surely over the weekend there will be one or two.  Tay seems off to a reasonable start with a 31 pounder yesterday  amongst other decent springers so who knows, still time yet for us to really get going!!!!

Heard of a 21lb fish from Lincombe Weir on the Severn yesterday

LATEST   Just seen the river at Hay.  Not bad at all certainly fishable at this location at least.
