Conditions still remain much the same and look likely to for some time with no real rain on the horizon.
However poor conditions did not put off Mr B Richardson from travelling from Tewksbury to fish the Rectory where he apparently caught a 12 slightly coloured hen fish from the mill stream. Lets hope it survives to spawn -every one is needed for sure.
Below is another of the letters from Tony Chattaway which might interest someone regarding his views on Fishery 'scientists'. T,he second page in which he refers to a group of ghillies starting a hatchery this was the one pioneered by Maj Gen Hopkinson and a couple of other owners who financed the project and which was run voluntarily by Wye Ghillies led by Lyn Cobley. It was rubbished as usual by |EA and you know who. Sorry the reproduction is not very good.
