Sorry nothing to report yesterday, or today for that matter.  Everything on the salmon front is on hold and perhaps really that's how it should remain to allow any spawners some protection from anglers and let them spawn in peace.

Under the current situation with obviously rock bottom stocks of fish it makes little sense to jeopardise even a few.   Many have in fact pretty much given up and if anyone fishes for coloured pre spawners in late Sept/October, especially on the upper river well there is still time to reflect on whether this is the right thing to do.  No doubt some will!!
