Still no further reports as far as I know despite pretty good conditions.
Had a walk down the river late afternoon yesterday without the trout rod thinking that the bright sunshine and strong cold winds would deter much activity from the fly life and the fish. Wrong. Despite the conditions the Grannom were hatching in big numbers and the odd fish was rising, though by that stage I suspect most trout had had their fill. Big drop in temperatures from tomorrow for s few days it seems though no rain in the offig for a couple of weks if forecasters are correct.
