River still too high in all areas at present so any catches seem unlikely for a couple of days at least.

I see WUF are reporting a 40"  fish from Upper Bigswier a couple a days ago -before the latest rise apparently.   Just shows what can be done.   However I think we are entitled to a little more information about that fish and the first off the river.  I understood, second hand, that there are photo/s of both.  Not sure why the secrecy = we deserve better from WUF and the angler(s) who caught them.   We wait to see with interest.

Thanks to several of you who enquired re the flies.  They are sold together with several other sets though I still have some smaller 1/0   2/0 salmon singles if required.

However I have the below box of flies also for sale though they hold nostalgic memories for me I have had them for several years now, they are unused and were tied for use by myself and my old friend Malcolm Edwards of Rheidol fame, sadly no longer with us.

I have to downsize somehow so they are available for sale if anyone would like them for £30. plus the box.
