Sorry all but not much news at the moment.   Talk of lockdown ending but frankly I somehow don't think so , not for a while anyway and not for opening day.

Plenty of water about at the moment and plenty more forecast for the rest of this week so nothing to slow the progress of any springers upstream.  Lets hope middle and upper beat get their share this season.

Personally I can't see how salmon fishing alone with no one within half a mile is a danger to me or anyone else and if push comes to shove and conditions are good I will be giving it a go, Thats if under the present Nazi like regime I still have the freedom to make a choice so I will anyway.
