Yesterday's huge spate has now peaked on the upper and middle river taking half f of Herfeordshire topsoil and associated crap with it to be deposited in the Estuary.   Good cleanout some might say but it often comes with associated damage to both, banks, riverbed and juvenile fish.

Someone sent me the below link, thanks Peter .  Take a look on the site and see all the worthies, no doubt with good intentions, but save us from most of them.  Even posing the question ' Is it time for the Lynx to be re introduced to Scotland.??     God help us.   There;s only once type of beaver in my opinion!!
