 Well the snow mercifully didn't amount to much and some anglers have been out pike fishing.  Stan Turner and a friend had two nice fish from his beat at Aramstone and a friend had a 22lb 4oz fish from his beat below Hereford yesterday.   See below.




Looks set for a long cold dryish spell so plenty of opportunities if that's what grabs you.

Salmon fishermen are always on the lookout for something that might give them an edge.

Recently obtained some lengths of luminous tubing in two different sizes. Its not really solid and need a plastic  liner.  Couple of small cone heads below.   Who knows.  Might be worth a try.




A selection of different Francis flies.  The small black yellow conehead top right reportedly took 10 fish in succession from one pool on the Tweed.
