No news on the |Lugg situation other than speculation.  Interesting though that English nature and the local wildlife Trust are calling the Lugg a 'nationally important river.'  Well it may be to the Wye catchment but that's about it really I would have thought.  .   We shall now have to see how English Nature in particular perform as they are normally so keen to bear down on one if you so much as cut down a tree o the river bank..   How will they perform against the big boy's I wonder.  Do I see a sweetener in the form of a donation perhaps?
