Although the river dropped quickly in the uppermost sections for most there won't be any fishing for most of this week I suggest, especially with heavy showers forecast for the next two days.

You may have seen the article in the recent Trout and Salmon Magazine regarding a rather special and exclusive river in Iceland.   Mind you I suspect not many of us could ever visit there, not at $5,000 dollars per DAY.   Food is good too apparently.  I should jolly well hope so.!!!!

Heard today of an angler who took a greenheart fly rod to the Wye recently by mistake but caught two fish on  a rod over 100 years old.  Success has no bearing on the high value of your tackle but more on how to use it don't you think?
