Dry spell remains as river continues to drop away and it's pretty low now on the upper beats with little chance of salmon sport under the clear blue skies.  Still forecasting a change from Wednesday onwards so perhaps conditions will improve by next weekend.

One fish reported yesterday to a Mr Redmond   15lbs from Upper Bigsweir.

Sobering to see that the Tweed for instance has bettered our seasons total so far by a weekly catch even though some beats don't routinely report.  I understand the Severn has been better this year too with one angler reporting 30 plus fish to his own rod so far.
