Looks like the upper river caught some rain overnight with at least two feet on the gauges at Rhayader which will affect upper beats later on today.
In the meantime the Rectory produced two fish with a 5/6lb fish toTim Hughes and another of around 13lbs to George Ottewell.
Just a reminder that the Wye is fly only from 1st September.
