Spate on the river yet to reach the lowest beats but several feet on the river from Builth Wells downstream with most of the water coming from the Irfon with heavy colour.  Further rain forecast for tomorrow and Thursday so prospect look pretty poor for some time.

Some fine words yesterday from NRW regarding the Lynfi pollution but there again they are usually pretty good at that.  Lynfi is not a huge river with limited industrial activity along most of its length..

Shouldn't be too difficult to track this down surely but we shall have to wait and see.  I for one won't be holding my breath that's for sure.

Came across this picture of a big pike I did for someone some years ago.  Can';t remember how big it was.

It was a nice specimen and pleased how it turned out. Did a lot of fish taxidermy in the past and really enjoyed it.  Not very P>C to kill anything these days.  Always happy to to a barbel though!!!
