Some more steady rain overnight and this morning so it's likely the river will rise further although it has dropped somewhat on the upper river at the moment.  Still plenty of colour.

Still no idea of the cause of the  river Lynfi pollution it seems. Will there ever be?

It seems too that the head of NRW would be in favour of the relaxation of environmental anti pollution measures on our rivers.  As they say, madmen running the asylum.

Wuf seem to think salmon fishing will be good after the spate and someone fishing Upper Bigswier on Monday said "No fish caught but plenty of fish seen and running. River coloured by late pm"

Well it remains to be seen that's for sure. No one else seems to have seen any new fish.

This was the Irfon yesterday afternoon having dropped somewhat from the previous day
