Conditions remain difficult as I'm sure you are well aware but a fish did come off the river on Tuesday, an 8lb fish on fly to Eddie Jefferson at Luggs Mouth.  Other than that no further information has been forthcoming.


Wye algae problem still making the news/ This below in Trout and salmon today.   The WUF are astonished by this problem. An ostrich with his head in the sand seems about right.

Even a WUF trustee and former Wye Owners Association Chairman gets in on the act too. The Trustees are just as culpable in my opinion.

Some of us seek the killer fly but god help the fly tier asked to do a couple of these. Hope its a joke and an exercise in how much material you can cram on a hook.   It's a wind up-isn't it!!!  It will catch a salmon for sure used often enough, as would almost every other fly ever tied.
