A moderate rise in most areas after yesterdays overnight rain which was not really as much as anticipated at least on the upper river.   A rise of up to 2 foot in some areas and heavy colour from Builth Wells downstream where the Irfon is very coloured.

However should put a different complexion on things and hopefully move some fish around and give upper beats at least a chance.  When was the last time I wonder when no fish came off the river above Hereford?
