Lindsay Reynolds Fishing Kit sale Before he sadly passed away in February Lins let it be known to his wife Tina and his son Stuart that he wanted his fishing tackle and equipment to be sold and the proceeds given to his eldest grandson Sam to help him through his University course. As you can imagine Lindsay had amassed a great collection of game fishing kit of all sorts. Salmon and Trout rods and reels, together with an extensive amount of Fly Tying kit as well! River continues to fall away if that's possible not helped in any way by the abstractors, legal or otherwise who continue to irrigate regardless of the conditions.  There must come a cut off point surely.  This one set up a day or so ago on the Worm Brook near Kilpeck to water emerging potato crop in the field behind.  How long this small brook could take that remains open to debate.  Let see whatthe Authorities have to say.   I suspect this is going on all over Herefordshire especially.

Nice trout taken from the river below Monmouth yesterday on dry fly.  Good amount of fish rising apparently with some mayfly about.   Seems there may be decent numbers of fresh salmon trying to enter the river too for when conditions eventually do change. Algae still present of course.
