No fish reported yesterday -hardly surprising under the current conditions which seem set to get even worse with soaring temperatures.  Driest May on record according to Met Office   No surprise looking at the state of the river which is obviously desperately low with lower river still beset with algae


Looks like the boys and girls are back in town but even they seem to have abandoned canoes in favour of float boards.

Mentioned a few days ago the old salmon hatchery run by Cliff Lloyd and othe EA bailiffs.which was located at Glasbury from which they stocked fry out for many years.  As you can see a pretty reasonable operation.  Sorry I can't rotate it.
