Re yesterdays post on the SNR project our old friend Dai Watkins with his err .extensive' knowledge of the Wye has been back on the Salmon Fshing Forum with this quote;

Interesting to say the least, especially the last sentence when you consider his only experience of the Wye has been his esconcement in the WUF Operations room for a couple of years. There will be no one more qualified than him to see how positives can be gleaned from failure having seen it done on an almost weekly basis.   This eventually leads one to suspect everyone is as devious as they are.   Not so Dai - and why don't they invite you to the Rectory some time so you can catch your first Wye salmon!!
