Only today and tomorrow until the spawners get some peace -that is unless you are on the upper river and tribs. Anyone fishing there now needs to examine their conscience. i certainly won't be reporting any fish caught.
two fish reported dead at Glasbury yesterday by canoeists. Big was all they could say. Wonder which beat upstream those came from and who might suspect it is one of theirs!!

YOUR LAST CHANCE! BIDDING FOR THE
GREAT S&TC ANNUAL ONLINE AUCTION CLOSES MIDNIGHT SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER
|
|
Our best online auction ever features over 100 lots - 124, to be precise -
of fishing and fishing related items the length and breadth of the
country, suiting every style, every pocket, every preference, every
location. But you don't have long now to register and
bid. The auction will automatically close at midnight this
coming Sunday - so make sure you are not caught out mid-bid!
Bid early. Bid often.
From a prime beat on the Spey at Tulchan to loch fishing in Wales;
from saltwater fly fishing in Poole Harbour to members only beats on the
southern chalkstreams; we are offering what can only be
described as an angler's dream wish list - and you can have it all!
Remember: all lots have been generously donated, which means
that all the funds raised goes to supporting S&TC's vital work
in protecting and preserving our precious wild fish and the waterways in
which they live. Our campaigns range from the ground-breaking
Riverfly Census project which now extends into Wales; our vigorous
lobbying against unsustainable fish farming off Scotland's north-west
coast; the closure of drift netting off Enland's north-east shores and many
more. We have never been more active and your support is
needed now more than ever before!
The auction area will remain open for viewing only once the bidding
closes. Winning bids will then be displayed: will yours be
there too?
REMEMBER!
You will always get an email confirming your bid and advising you if you
have been outbid. This email will come from auction@salmon-trout.org.
Please add this address to your Safe Senders list, and check your Junk
Email folder first if you do not receive an email.
