Once again the weathermen got it wrong and dire warnings of really heavy prolonged rain failed to materialise.  It rained alright but often light and patchy and as such only the upper river has been affected so far with less than a foot of water. A small rise on the Irfon but on the whole nothing that seems likely to have a major impact on levels though any water is always welcome.
