Well the Met forecast was wrong again -nothing for the upper catchtment though the odd storm elsewhere. One over the Black mountains yesterday seemed to be heading for Hereford. Some rain  for Friday, apparently,  but it does not look significant at the moment.


Yesterday.   6lb fish from beat 3 on Whitney  by Jim Cummings. Other fish about in reasonable numbers on the beats.

Exploits River in NL Impresses Swedish Salmon Researchers

A team of researchers from Sweden is trying to understand how this river went from salmon runs of about 1,500 to as high as 47,000, and is now consistently hosting runs of 30,000 or more.
