With no rain locally until this morning it was a bit of a shock to see the upper Wye gauges at Llangurig and Rhayader way up this morning and still rising and another rise will follow to all areas today and tomorrow.  Some other upstream tributaries are starting to rise too with no doubt colour from the Ithon to boot.    Best get out there today and make the best of it.

Spate reached Erwood this afternoon and is well on its way. Its pretty dirty with colour from the Irfon and Ithon.   Two fish caught today just in time. It will be out tomorrow for sure.

YESTERDAY.    Fish from the Red Lion to Kenny Powell on a F/C   Estimated 25lbs.

TODAY. Fish from the Rope, Middle Hill Court to Mike Sutton. 17lbs spinning
Another to Dave Roberts from the Carrots.  12lb Spinning F/C

Fish from the Oak Tree Pool, Garnons, on a devon minnow to Ricky Reno  20 1/2lbs
