Things continue to be very quiet up and down the river with just one grilse reported today from Coedithel. No further details.  Possibly a fish at Bigswier this morning too.  River now very low on upper beats. Some rain forecast for friday but just how much I wonder?

Reports of some good barbel catches from a few areas. notably Courtfield/Wyebank but pretty slow elsewhere especially on the upper river.   However a middle Wye beat which shall remain nameless produced in a single day to one angler chub of 6lb.5ozs  7lb.6ozs and 8lb 2ozs. Not many rivers could compete with that.
It seems that at least one coarse fisherman is complaining about anglers on the opposite bank casting over into their swims. Welcome to our world guys.
