Regarding the recent pollution incident on the Usk below is the current situation;
Perhaps they could have restocked if they still had a hatchery?

The current position is as follows:

·         The source of the leak was an underground tank of red diesel that had not been used for over 12 years

·         The leak was stopped by NRW last Friday

·         The fish and invertebrate life on the tributary have been ‘wiped out’ along a 500 metre stretch

·         The fish and invertebrate life on the main river have not been adversely affected.
