River up and coloured below the Ithon but not as high as might have been expected. Ithon, Irfon and Lynffi all rose to some extent but the upper catchment did not get the rain that much of mid Powys did,
It will be too high and coloured for most beats for a day or so below the Ithon and for the lower river the Lugg is heavily coloured and the river is slowly rising once again.
Fresh fish in coming from the estuary meeting fresh water means only one thing - they will keep going for the upper river.

Did hear of a fish yesterday -could have been the day before. to Joe Cobley. About 10lbs sea liced.

Won;t fish tomorrow except above the Ithon.
