Looks almost certain that dry conditions will remain for the rest of the week.  Upper river beats with fast deep gutter such as the Nyth , Glanwye etc could still produce but things may get even more difficult elsewhere. In any event are there the numbers of fish in the upper river that some were predicting. I'm not so sure.

Lower beats should be the place to be early and late to avoid canoes. Check also for barbel bookings on many beats.  What other major salmon river would you need to point that out??

Good to see there were several fish yesterday.
A 12lb fish at Eardisley to A. Chatterley on a flying C
A 4lb grilse from Hereford AA Vineyard stream on fly
and a 7/8lb fish from Backey to keith Maddox.
