Upper river starting to rise a little, about 6" so far and with heavy outbreaks of rain  still around in many areas it  may well rise further during the day.  Likely to be colour from the Ithon again and from heavy showers in other areas.

A couple more fish from yesterday.  Dave Roberts had another from the Carrots, about 14lbs on a flying C
and Tony Richardson too had another from Luggsmouth =10lbs

LATEST.

Heavy rain all morning on the upper river means the tributaries Ithon, Irfon and Lynfii and of course the main Wye are all rising and are there is heavy colour already.  Seems certain that most of the river will not be fishable this weekend.  Still raining hard at 2.00pm.
