River out of order everywhere and more rain has now set in across Wales  -for most of the day apparently.
Looks pretty grim for the next few days.

Two fish reported from Thomas Wood on Tuesday by H Morshead. 12 and 14lbs caught spinning.

If your kicking your heels the below film clip might be worth a look.

See below the response from WUF to the NRW hatchery closure debate

Strange that over the years engaged with the EA on their stocking policy, formed the Greenbottom Hatchery with other owners,. Set up the Paincastle hatchery at the instigation of the Wye Owners (Lost the lot).   Co- operated with the EA on the Cynrig hatchery in recent year including helping with the catch up. Backed -reluctantly I agree, the recent SNR initiative.
Now the about turn where the message seems to me -close everything down -give me the money instead- I've only spent 10/12/14 million whatever the figure is.

Seems the recent message following the Wye owners recent meeting is a circulation to members giving the NRA view, the WUF view and some information regarding the WSA SNR Project.  NOT however circulating the WSA response giving the opposite view to WUF.   I suppose its only to be expected now with the WSFOA completely dominated by WUF who they trail along behind with no ideas of their own and a secretary employed by WUF Like I said before 'Democracy in action -NOT.
