River continues to drop slowly and clear but still on the high side for many beats though prospects are improving all the time.

WSA held one of their casting days yesterday at Letton and very well attended it was too both by adults, man and ladies and children.  Weather was a bit muddy miserable but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm or the barbeque sausages and hot dogs.   Thanks to Brian Powell for the venue and everyone who worked hard to put the event on.

Note;  Despite good clearing running water not a single fish showed throughout the day-disapponting to say the least.

Should have been a fish or two reported today from the upper river.  Seems worryingly quiet.
