River and tributaries now running clear in most areas but still high enough downriver.  Superb running water and somewhat surprised no fish have been caught on the upper beats at least in the last couple of days. It must surely start to happen with a few more inches off the river.

18lb fish today from the Cafn stream at the Nyth today for Phillip Parkinson.

Also a fish from the Red Lion on a black and yellow deeply fished tube.  Only problem it was a barbel of about 6lbs or so.!
