River levels continue to fluctuate and the promise of further rain is never too far away.  At the moment it looks unlikely that beats below Hereford will fish at all by Monday with a lot depending too on the colour.
Best bet at the moment would appear to be from Moccas to Builth Wells.  In the past beats such as Whitney, Red Lion and Spreadeagle were always in with a chance as were the Maesllwych beats though these have change structurally significantly since the 80/90s.
Uppermost beats from Newbridge to Builth Wells look likely to get the very best of the conditions though whether fish will get that far these days in March remains to be seen.
