Some interesting stuff though the first article regarding smolts at sea seems strange. Why would it take a researcher with $500 dollar tags to determine that large quantities of striped bass in the estuary could well be eating huge quantities of migrating smolts. Would that not be self evident. Always seems to be funds for researchers though. Seems Cormorants might be a problem too. fancy that!

Federal Government faces lawsuit over genetically modified
