River steady and clear and in decent condition for the last couple of days.  A few more fish caught, though very coloured in some instances.  The spread of fish is still somewhat puzzling and though a few have been caught on upper beats and around Erwood other good beats, such as those between Glasbury and Winforton down to the Red Lion and beyond seem somewhat barren.?

Boatside (Hay on Wye) : 15lb Hen Salmon for George Scholes. Slightly coloured taken from the Wall Pool at noon on a 1 inch Dee Monkey.

Lower Ballingham: 24lb salmon to Andrew Monaghan yesterday on a Willie Gunn.

Gromain & Upper Llanstephan: 2 salmon to Mark Barker yesterday, 4lbs and 7lbs.
